Where exactly is my data saved?
Your invoices, receipts, and client details are saved in IndexedDB — a built-in database that every modern browser provides. It works like a file on your computer: it never leaves your device, and only this app can access it. Nothing is sent to any server.
Can anyone else see my invoices or client information?
No. Because there is no server and no account, there is nothing to breach remotely. Your data sits in your browser's storage, isolated from other websites and inaccessible to anyone who doesn't have physical access to your device.
What happens if I clear my browser data?
Your records will be gone, because they live in your browser's storage — not on a server. To protect against this, use the built-in backup: go to Settings → Data & Backup and export a JSON file before clearing anything. You can import that file later to restore everything exactly as it was.
Can I use this on multiple devices or move my data to a new computer?
Yes. Go to Settings → Data & Backup on your current device and export a JSON backup file. Then open the app on the new device, go to the same page, and import that file. Everything — invoices, receipts, clients, your business profile — transfers over in one step.
How do I get started?
Head to Settings → Business Profile and fill in your name, address, and tax number once. Those details will pre-fill every new document automatically. Then click New Invoice or New Receipt, add your client, add line items or log time, and export the PDF when you're ready to send.
